Theme and Introduction

Public Health's Bold Agenda

Public health touches every aspect of our lives. It is critical to our economic growth. It's imperative for safeguarding our national security. It's central to a healthy environment. It's connected to the success of student learning, to ups and downs in worker productivity, to our mental health and well-being, and so much more. In this lecture, Dean Michelle A. Williams will explore public health's bold agenda for the 21st Century, with a particular focus on the role of global collaborations—across disciplines, sectors, and continents—to build capacity to tackle the toughest challenges facing humanity.
