On September 28, the world-renowned journal Circulation (IF 23.603) published a paper titled A Unique Population of Regulatory T cells in Myocardial Infarction written by the research team of Prof. CHENG Xiang from the Department of Cardiology, Union Hospital Affiliated to Tongji Medical College. This study revealed for the first time the phenotypic and functional characteristics of cardiac tissue-specific regulatory T cells (Tregs), which is regarded as an important progress in the field of cardiac tissue-specific immune response.
