From April 8th to 10th, 2019, the World Health Expo kicked off at Wuhan International Expo Center in Hubei province. The Expo covered an area of about 120,000 square meters and had more than 4,000 booths involving healthcare industry and brands across the world. It presented new technologies, products and trends of global healthcare industry.

Tongji Medical College of HUST was specially invited to attend the Expo and its stand was B1-T17, the core place of the Tongji Healthcare City.Tongji Medical Collegefully prepared and elaboratedlarge exhibition boards with bilingual (Chinese/English) languages, comprehensively introducing its achievement in talents cultivation, teaching staff, discipline construction, scientific research,social services and international exchanges. At the most notable stands are the 12 top academic teams led by Academician Prof. CHEN Xiaoping, Academician Prof. MA Ding, Dean Prof. CHEN Jianguo and other prominent professors etc.These teams have made outstanding contributions in clinical and basic research, scientific and technological innovation, development of new drugs and many other frontier fields of medicine, enjoying high reputation in China and abroad.

Healthcare and Finance Center was hosted by Qiaokou District Government, Wuhan. Many excellent projects from 59 enterprises in the world were displayed on the center, some of which were quite popular, such as children health intelligent robot and dental stem cells extraction, restoration and transformation. According to statistics, some projects have signed contracts with Qiaokou district, which valued 7.66 billion Yuan in total and will contribute to the healthcare industry development in Qiaokou District.

  The Healthcare and Finance Center was one of the parts of the World Health Expo, covering an area of 10,500 square meters. It divided into5functional areas: main area for Tongji Healthcare City, display area for healthcare enterprises, accumulation area for financial enterprises, service area for administrative examination and approval and road showing area for programs. In 66 exhibitors, there were 34 healthcare companies and 32 financial businesses,3 of which were medical representatives of the Fortune 500 enterprises.
