The State Council Medical Reform Office has listed Wuhan in the third-round nationwide public hospital comprehensive reform piloting city. To evaluate the effect of the comprehensive reform in Wuhan, according to the request from national medical reform strategy, city medical reform leading team conference and Wuhan medical reform office (2016) 4^th file, an expert council is established with our faulty, also dean of health policy and management Institute, Professor FANG Pengqian leading the team. The expert council consists of scholars and experts form Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan University, Hubei University and other institutes in Hubei Province, with Professor LE Hong, Professor ZHANG Wenbing, Professor CHEN Yingchun, Associate Professor JIA Hongying, Associate Professor LI Bing from our school. The expert council will evaluate the development and effect of the medical reform for a continuous time, in order to excavate the highlights and outstanding case, to accumulate experiences for public hospital reform, provide evidence for policy modification, and explore the obstacles and problems in the reform and to provide constructional ideas for further reform. Currently, the evaluation report for hospital reforming for the first group in Wuhan has been completed.
