New Progress in Health Management of Hypertensive Population

Recently, Professor LIU Gang and Professor PAN An of the School of Public Health have made new progress in the field of health management on hypertensive population, of which the related research results have been published in JAMA Network Open and Hypertension, two international authoritative journals.

On February 1, JAMA Network Open, a sub-journal of JAMA, published online by Liu Gang and Pan An's team entitled Association of Lifestyle Factors and Antihypertensive Medicine Use With Risk of All-Cause and Ca Use-Specific Mortality Among Adults With Hypertension in China.



On December 8, 2021, The team collaborated to publish an article in Hypertension, a leading journal in the field of hypertension, entitled Effectiveness of a Workplace-Based, Multicomponent Hypertension Management Program in Real-World Practice:A Propensity-Matched Analysis.


 

This series of research results provide an important scientific basis for the health management of hypertensive patients. The research was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Key Research and Development Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Outstanding Youth Fund of Hubei Province.
