Regulation of Early Professional Practice for
Undergraduate Students
Early professional practice is a necessary part of undergraduate teaching. Its purpose is to guide students to have early contact with their majors, understand society, establish a perceptual understanding of the professional field, give full play to the advantages of practical education, cultivate students' practical ability. It enables them to understand society and vivid real life, experience the hardship and meaning of labor, learn to deal with the relationship between people, establish the awareness of regulations, public morality and social responsibility and establish professional thinking. It ultimately aims to promote the comprehensive and harmonious development of students' knowledge, ability.
I.Participants
All students in the second year.
II.Schedule
Participate in at least two weeks of practical work related to major during the summer vacation at the end of the second academic year.
III.Form and Content
Early professional practice is conducted in groups or individually, and students personally contact practice units with a letter of introduction issued by the school and engage in relevant work.
IV.Performance Evaluation
1.After the practice, each student must fill out the appraisal form in the Early Professional Practice Guidance Manual, and the unit where he/she has worked should give a comment and affix the official seal.
2.Each student must also submit a practice report of more than 3,000 words. The format requirements of the practice report include: A4 paper with margins of 2.5 cm on all four sides; the title is bolded with No. 3 Song typeface; the major, student number and name are marked with No. 5 italics under the title; the body is in No. 5 Song typeface, and the row spacing is fixed at 20 pounds.
3. School will give the practice grade according to the materials submitted by students such as appraisal and report, and those who achieve qualified grade can get 2 extra-curricular credits.
V.Organization
1. Before the end of the second academic year, a mobilization meeting will be held to educate and guide students on early professional practice.
2. The academic affairs office is responsible for issuing the letter of introduction for students to contact practice units and issuing Manual of Early Professional Practice.
3. When the practice ends, the appraisal form, report and other materials should be submitted to school for filing.
