Professional Experience
Prof.Yan Qiaoyuan has more than 20 years clinical experience, and she has been engaged in scientific research and teaching activities for nearly 20 years. She was a chief nurse,the vice President of the Nursing college of Tongji medical college of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. She is currently the deputy chairman of the Academic Steering Committee of the Rehabilitation Association of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, member of the first standing committee of the Health Care Standardization Commission of the Chinese Medical Health Information and Health Nursing Branch of Big Data Institute, the standing committee member of Nursing Information Professional Committee of China Medical Informatics Association(CMIA), a member of the National Committee for Review of Digital Teaching Materials for Higher Medicine, an expert for review of master's and doctoral dissertation of academic degree and postgraduate education development center of the Ministry of Education, and a technology service information platform evaluation expert in Hunan province and other provinces. She is the editorial board member of Chinese Journal of Modern Nursing, Journal of Nursing Science, China Medical Journal.
Prof.Yan is the deputy director of the Continuing Education Committee of the Hubei Nursing Association, the director of the Hubei Health Law Research Association,the director of the Information Society of Hubei Province Association. She is also the Chinese technical guidance expert of the 45th world skills competition, the chief expert and referee of Hubei province for health and social care project of the 45th world skills competition. She has visited Oxford University Hospital, Newcastle Hospital, Oxford Brookes University and Newcastle University in the UK, and Hong Kong University in Hong Kong. She has published more than 100 papers and has presided over a MOOC course online for Nursing Research and has completed three rounds of teaching. She has edited 12 textbooks/books and is the deputy editor of the national "13th five-year plan" teaching material "Nursing Research" and the editor of the "12th five-year plan" postgraduate teaching material "Nursing Research Method". She has hosted 12 provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, won the third prize of scientific and technological progress of Hubei province (2018), the second prize and third prize of scientific and technological information achievements of Hubei province (2007 and 2010). Her scientific research achievements won the second prize of Science and Technology Progress in Hubei province and the third prize of Hospital Science and Technology Innovation Award of China hospital association. Prof.Yan has led her team to win the second prize of the First National Undergraduate Clinical Nursing Skills Competition (2015). She has won the Hubei province Science and Technology Aid Tibet Advanced member and the Hubei province Science and Technology Aid Xinjiang Special Contribution prize each once. In September 2018, she was selected as an individual with outstanding contributions to the 45th world skills competition in Hubei province.
