"Tongji Measures“ for Precise Policies

The experts in preventative medicine and epidemiology in our hospital provided consultation to the central or local government; clinical experts shared their experience combating the pandemic and provided the Tongji solutions to overseas counterparts through online meetings.

As members of the Hubei Pandemic Prevention Advisory Group, Prof. WU Tangchun, Prof. XU Shunqing and other experts in preventative medicine and epidemiology provided consultation in pandemic analysis, treatment evaluation, and community prevention & control strategies.

Professor LIU Liang’steam from the Department of Forensic Medicine took the lead in carrying out the pathological anatomy of 11 coronavirus patients. The results were included in the"COVID-19 Diagnosis and Treatment Plan" issued by the National Health Commission (For Trial Implementation Version 7).

The Affiliated Tongji Hospital set up the “COVID-19 Overseas Fever Clinic” on its official app. and WeChat official account.

Experts represented by Academician Chen Xiaoping and Academician Martin shared  Tongji Experience and Tongji Measures with their overseas counterparts through more than 130 international links.

The “Overseas Consulting Groups” organized by Tongji experts have been offering consultations to patients in the United States, Britain, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Australia etc. Experts have made international video calls with counterparts from the United States, Germany and other countries to share our experience in patient treatment and healthcare worker protection.
