A large number of unities and individuals of Tongji Medical Colleges of HUST,  have been praised or awarded honorable titles by the Central Committee of CPC, the State Council of China, and authoraties of Ministerial, Provincial or Municipal level.

Prof. ZHANG Dingyu, Dean of the Jinyintan Hospital Affiliated to TJMC (the 11th Clinical School), was awarded the highest national honorary title People's Hero.

At the critical moment when the global epidemic seriously endanged the people's health and life, it's Tongji alumni who once again stood out and went toward the clinical battle field without any hesitation, performed a series of heroic legends and even sacrificed their lives. They deduced the wonderful moment of Tongji Spiirit who continue to write the magnificent chapter of serving people's health for a hundred years.
