Professor HU Yu, the Dean of Union Hospital Affiliated to TJMC of HUST, and his team has been a champion in multidisciplinary collaboration for precise diagnosis and treatment of venous thromboembolism based on molecular diagnosis.

They developed high-throughput sequencing chip suitable for Chinese genetic characteristics to achieve VTE molecular diagnosis

For above achievement, Prof. HU and his team won the Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, the First Prize of Hubei Province Science and Technology Achievement Promotion Award, and the First Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education for their "research results related to thrombotic diseases".
