VI. The specific requirements of this discipline for the training of PhD

Cultivation mode:

We should take teacher guidance, collective training and individual learning, and combine theory study with scientific research. In the process of training, we should not only make clear the role of tutors and guidance groups, but also give full play to the initiative of graduate students, and focus on training the independent working ability and innovative ability of graduate students. Combined with the advantages of our international cooperation, joint training with foreign experts.

Cultivation link:

1. public courses and basic professional courses: first semester

2. the arrangement of professional and professional foreign language learning

Reading this subject specified or unified teaching materials and relevant reference books , under the guidance of tutor ,reading relevant foreign language books intensively, and reading professional foreign language magazine extensively, during the period you should complete reading a foreign language professional work. In the way of learning, mainly self-study, regular counseling, the sixth semester exam.

3. the work of scientific research and paper: the 3-6 semester

PhD applicants during the reading must be published or accepted B journals (including B) more than one paper ,or published in C journals(including C) more than two papers, and published SCI (Science Citation Index) at least one paper in journals. Participate in the Department declaration and related academic activities, the defense time is sixth semesters.

Dissertation:

I.select topic (first semester)

The principles are:1. In line with professional research 2. It belongs to the frontier of discipline and has innovative literature reading, make paper’s opening report and get one course credit.

The basic content of the report is:

1.the source and significance of the subject

2. domestic and international research situation and development trend of the subject

3.the content of the subject and technical solutions

4. expected results and innovation

5. the main references

II. The research (2nd-5th semester)

Draw up the project implementation plan, do pre-experiment, and modify the research’s project on the basis of this work, make paper’s opening report in the staff room, implement and complete the formal experiment. Make report on the work to the teacher or guidance group regularly, and the teacher or guidance group help solve the relerant problems. report regularly to the Department of research, listen to the questions and suggestions, so as to timely revise and supple the research program.

III. Paper’s interim report

Before writing doctoral dissertation, you should report the results of the work to the steering group of doctoral or relevant scholars and experts, listen to the questions and discuss improvements, after innovative research results obtained agreements, you can write the paper.

VI. Oral defense (6th semester)

Collate and analyze the results of the experiment and write the first draft of the paper. In the teaching and research room for pre-defense, listen to opinions, under the guidance of tutor to modify the paper.

Basic requirements for PhD to apply for thesis defense:

1. complete the required course credits; 2. complete the paper topic selection report;

3. complete the interim report of the paper; 4. publish a specified number of papers in the journal;

5.complete the graduation paper’s writing; 6. pass the domestic and foreign experts’s review.

Organization and management:

Implement three levels (the graduate school, graduate students, teaching and research department,) of management system. In the whole process of training, instructors should always pay attention to graduate students' thinking, learning, working and living conditions, regular understand graduate students' scientific research progress, timely detect problems and solve problems.
